Located in a former silk-throwing mill the Park Centre is located in the historical quarter of Virieu, next to the castle, the ramparts and the old market hall overlooking the valley. In the garden, crossed by a reach, you will find panels explaining the hydraulic installation that allows the mill to operate. The Park Centre is also the starting point for two discovery trails: "Le Priel" and "The stream of silk" around Pélussin.
The "Plus" sustainable tourism :
In addition to its function as a tourist office, this house is the seat of the Park, first administration in France to be certified ISO 14001 with a view to analysing and reducing the environmental impact of the business. Through this action, the Park works on a daily basis to reduce its energy consumption (reducing the consumption of water, paper, printing on both sides, rough paper, etc.). A heating system supplied with wood chips from local sawmills provides heating for the entire premises.

Installée dans un moulin qui autrefois filait la soie, la Maison du Parc s'intègre au quartier historique de Virieu, aux côtés du château, des remparts et de l'ancienne halle surplombant la vallée. Outre ses fonctions techniques et administratives, la Maison du parc accueille un large public dans son exposition permanente :
