Examples of actions performed and projects

• The Park, in its mission to ensure sustainable development of the territory, has drawn up a framework document for installing wind farms in its territory.
• In 2007, Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park published a set of hiking information sheets with the cooperation of the French Hiking Federation. This action was extended in 2008 with the appearance of new sheets to complete the collection.
• The Park has conducted work aimed at protecting the menhir-statues discovered on farm land or in the midst of untouched nature.
• Throughout the year, we offer individuals the chance to participate in practical gardening workshops using simple, ancestral techniques and local products.
• In 2008, the Park is working to draw up a forestry charter for the territory.
