The Park in action Millevaches en Limousin Regional Natural Park
A Regional natural park has the following missions: to protect the heritage, in particular through management adapted to the natural environments and the landscapes; to contribute to the development of the region; to contribute to economic, social and cultural development and quality of living; to provide support, education and information to the general public. to carry out experimental or exemplary actions in the aforementioned fields and to contribute to research programmes.
The Charter is the contract that gives concrete expression to the protection, promotion and development project drawn up for the Park territory. It describes the aims and the resources assigned to the regional authorities in charge of the park: the Limousin region, the Corrèze, Creuse and Haute-Vienne départements, the communes and the public establishments for cooperation between communes.
